Neighbourhood Watch Search Team (East Division)

Following on from the most recent report, there has been continuing activity over the past few weeks, including the call-out to Hastings.

We also held our own exercises over two days (12th & 14th of March). This enabled us to revise our learned skills and all had an enjoyable time. Thanks go to Paul & David Washington for their hard work in setting up these exercises. The weather wasn’t too bad either!

The very next weekend (19th & 20th of March), Sussex Police held a large-scale exercise at Angmering Park as part of an ongoing operation. Teams from West, North and us, together with our colleagues from the ‘Darvell Dozen’ scoured the woodland for clues in less than ideal weather conditions.

However, the team spirit and enthusiasm of the volunteers never seems to diminish; something I am immensely proud of.

If you know of anyone willing to join, please get them to contact me, as we need as many volunteers as we can get.
